Plate to part. Coded welding, carbon to exotic.

Certified plate supplied as stock sizes or cut to size and profiled, plate work and engineered parts for industrial operations, welded to qualified procedures by coded welders — from carbon steel to duplex, nickel alloys and titanium.

Plate
to part.

  1. 01 Plate

    Certified from the start.

Plate is supplied with its EN 10204 3.1 Mill Test Certificate. The heat number is recorded before the first cut.

  2. 02 Cut

    Profiled to drawing.

Parts are nested on the plate and cut by CNC plasma, oxy-fuel or laser, or by guillotine and saw.

  3. 03 Trace

The heat number moves with the part.

Each cut part is marked so its material can be traced back to the certificate, through fabrication and into the data book.

  4. 04 Weld

    Root, fill and cap.

Joints are prepared and welded pass by pass to a qualified WPS by coded welders — carbon steel to duplex, nickel alloys and titanium.

  5. 05 Inspect

    Tested, not assumed.

Welds are visually inspected and tested by NDT, and the results are recorded against each joint.

  6. 06 Release

    Into the data book.

NDT reports and AIA sign-off are compiled into the QCP data book with the part.
