Welding hours estimator.
Welder-hours and crew duration from diameter-inches, productivity norms and factors for material, location and repairs.
How it's calculated.
Welding hours are estimated from scope (DI) and a productivity norm, adjusted for material, location and repairs:
Shifts = DI × material factor × location factor × (1 + repair %) ÷ (DI per welder per shift)
Welder-hours are shifts × shift length; duration is shifts ÷ welders. The defaults are placeholders, not Redsafe norms: measured productivity depends on schedule, position, process, preheat and PWHT, access, permits and supervision.
